About Kageno

In Dholuo, a Kenyan dialect, Kageno means A Place of Hope.

Kageno Worldwide, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization currently operating community development projects in Rwanda and Kenya, with children’s outreach programs in the USA.

Kageno’s mission is to transform communities suffering from inhumane poverty into places of opportunity and hope by identifying and delivering actionable programs. Kageno builds Innovative Community Centers that provide access to clean water, food, sanitation, health care, education, and income generation.

Project Description

The project consists of creating a business plan for an eco-tourism lodge in the Banda Village, in the heart of the majestic national park Nyungwe. The eco-tourism project is part of a larger development project, with the goal of providing the population of Banda access to health facilities, medicine and water.
